Classic 1953 Ford Pick Up Truck

This classic Ford pickup truck was found in Brooklin Ontario, sitting in a garage.  The owner had started to restore the truck with many used parts found throughout the area.  The build was put on hold until a Newcastle, Ontario man purchased the truck.

This Ford pickup truck has now been taken apart and the build has many new body parts.  In the engine bay you will find a complete rebuilt 302 sbf, 30 over, edelbrock intake and 600 carb, hedman headers, flow master dual mufflers, lokar 3sp floor shifter, FMX 3 speed tranny, Dana 44 rear end 3.69 gears, all new smoked glass and rubber, all new bed in the  box with an oak floor from Ontario’s Tyrone mill.  Body to be painted in winter of 2012.

Watch for updates on this sweet ride.

Updated March 2012

The restorations on this truck have been completed, you can now view photos of the restored 1954 Ford Pickup

I think we could say YES, as long as the offer would support all the work and parts that have gone into this build.

I have watched some of the work being done and when an UGLY is found, it has been replaced with new.

The truck sounds great with the new build and added Thumpr Cam, headers, and the list goes on.

We have seen many trucks with the yellow paint job, and they do look cool. The owner of this truck has decided to go with the John Deer Blitz Black on the main body with a cream roof, front grill, and Ford lettering on the tail gate. Pictures will follow of the exterior.

The interior has also been finished with the bench seat in Black Cream Leather. Years have gone into this build, as though money was not a problem.
